Buying the Flowers Myself is monthly essay on arts and culture sent out by me, Jon Paul Roberts. 

I’m a British writer, living in the north of England and I’m regularly thinking about queer writing, contemporary fiction, sex, the autobiographical, art, ethics, and writing by women. I’ve written regularly for a few small independent publications, as well as outlets like Huff Post, Metro, The Spool, and Hinterland.
